Black Velvet Distillery, Process Lagoon & Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation
Project, Lethbridge, AB. 2012 Project incorporated the evaluation of a
thirty (30) year old 4 ac-ft. process lagoon upgraded to current standards
and the evaluation and lining of the sewer collection and treatment systems.
Contaminated sediment was properly removed and disposed of, subgrade
tested, and new liner system installed. Construction work was completed
within a one (1) month window while the plant was down for its yearly

XL Foods Inc., Lakeside Packers, Brooks, Alberta. 2011 Beef processing
plant that included a two (2) million dollar upgrade. Site civil work included
rehabilitation of the three (3) sewage treatment lagoons, collection systems
and parking lots. Also worked with mechanical and electrical engineers on
interior processing and refrigerant systems. Lagoon work included
drainage, addition of blower and air bubbler systems, replacement of

2010 Potatoes processing plant that included a $750k upgrade to the process

City of Lethbridge Cell 5A Landfill Project, AB. 2013 A six (6) million
dollar project incorporated detailed design & construction management of
a large MSW disposal cell (865k km of excavation) & a smaller ICS disposal
cell including the closure of a Class III Landfill. Project was completed in
a six (6) month timeframe. Also completed was an evaluation &
recommendations of liners, de-watering lagoon decommissioning, capping

Baker Hughes Petrolite Plant, Hempfield Twp., PA, Baker Hughes Inc.,
Desmone & Assoc. Architects. 2009 Twenty (20) acre, twelve (12) million
dollar industrial & light manufacturing site related to the repair &
maintenance of natural gas well drilling equipment. The preparation of
construction plans & specifications including site, storage yard, parking lot
& accesses roadway, tank farm layout, traffic circulations design, sanitary
& storm water conveyance design, permitting for both industrial wastewater
& NPDES requirements, lift station & force main, utilities, grading, erosion
& sediment pollution control & zoning compliance review. Included
multiple large Stormceptor structures to comply with storm water quality

Wind Energy Project, CA, UPRI Utilities. 2008 Signing Engineer for
foundations research conducted for design of laterally loaded rock-socketed
drilled shaft foundations & direct embedded poles for transmission line

the existing petroleum refining facility. Including the demolitions &

conveyor systems within the existing manufacturing facility. Including the

Creekside Mushrooms Ltd., Worthington, PA. 2005 Design & preparations
of construction plans & specifications including contract administration &
construction management for the construction of a 400 x 300 ft. manure
storage & treatment buildings & other site improvements. Underground

WWTF Water Reclamation Project, City of Willits, CA 12 million dollar
project, Phase 1 of 3, Includes equalization ponds & new headworks
building, an enhanced extended aeration activated sludge mechanical
secondary treatment process with nutrient removal, new circular clarifiers,
ultraviolet (UV) disinfection, followed by enhanced effluent treatment
(including additional nutrient removal) & storage within a new treatment
wetland. Existing 1.3 mgd upgraded to 4.0 mgd, with potential for 7.0 mgd.
Permitted through RWQCB Regional Water Quality Control Board.

Storm Sewer Rehabilitation Project, Willits, CA, City of Willits Public
Works Department. Completed inventory & evaluation of all the City’s
storm water management systems. Subcontracted video camera crews to
survey the entire system. Provided a five year storm sewer rehabilitation
plan with recommendations & estimates for replacement & repairs.
Designed water quality improvements to the system to comply with new

Brady’s Bend Water & Sewer Treatment Plants, Brady’s Bend, PA. Design

both facilities. Small package type plants that served a community of 2000
residents. Water supply was very unique coming from an older limestone
mine. We were required to deal with Brown Bat (endangered species) in the

culverts replaced older bridge structures that were failing & unable to

existing treatments systems. Included the installation of pre-treatment and

Westgate Commercial Development, Silver Ridge, Lethbridge, AB. Design
and preparations of construction plans and specifications for a site that
included a car wash, convenience store, fast food restaurant, bank and
several other various small department stores. Include significant traffic
analysis to meet transportation requirements due to its location at a primary

Sugar Creek Rest Home, Kittanning, PA, Water & Sewer Treatment
Upgrades. Design & preparations of construction plans & specifications
including contract administration & construction management
improvements to the onsite water & wastewater systems. The water system
was comprised of supply wells to a green s& filter plant. Sanitary was also
a packaged plant. Flows were only 12,000 gallons per day. Well were
struggling with iron & system was modified to improve water quality.

the site. The in-situ soils present under the slope were determined to be
unsuitable to handle bearing pressures. An aggregate trench was designed
to maintain a sound foundation for the slope to eliminate risk of failure due

#1 Cochran Automotive, Commercial Lot in the Municipality of
Monroeville, Allegheny County, PA. Completed Hydrologic & Hydraulic
Analysis required to complete Joint Permit Application which included
Wetl& Mitigation. Included 2500+/- feet of profile & cross-sections of East
Thompson Run. Utilized HEC-RAS software to compute water surface
elevations, velocities, floodplain & floodway boundaries. Study included
analysis of existing State Route 22 culvert crossing. Design storm
conveyance system which included pipes & inlets that outlet a large
detention basin. Permitting process included a Highway Occupancy Permit

Armstrong, Indiana, & Butler County Bridge Projects, PA. Design &

replacement project. Performed the Hydrologic & Hydraulic Analysis &

designs. Worked closely with structural & geotechnical engineers. An
example was the Climax Bridge at Redbank Creek. The proposed bridge
was a 3-span concrete I-beam, clear span 28 m., under clearance of 12 m.

Field of Dreams Ball Fields Project, Willits, CA, City of Willits. Design &
preparations of construction plans & specifications including contract
administration & construction management for multi-little league field’s
project. Fields were replicas of existing historical landmarks. Complex was
integrated with the existing museum, tourist railroad, & community park &
rodeo grounds. Funding was provided from transportation bill as

Lakeview, Culpeper County, VA, Angler Development. 553-unit mixed use
on 209 acres intergraded around an existing lake. Included all
infrastructure, local roadway & access improvements, recreation center,
park & trails, stormwater management design utilized existing lake capacity,
wetland preservations & mitigation. Utilities included sewer pump station,
& all other deep & shallow services. Project Manager & Design Lead.
Lake Ridge Subdivision & Dam, Murrysville, PA. Residential subdivision
with Lake Feature. Lake acted as a stormwater management & recreational
facility. Due to its depth greater than 15 feet, dam permitting & design
requirements were needed through PA Dam Safety. Included extensive
geotechnical design & inspection components. Design Engineer for the
facilities.
Lyons Run Estates, Municipality of Murrysville, Westmoreland County,
PA. Development plans for residential community, including large
stormwater management detention pond & outlet structure for 30 acre
watershed. Storage volume of 228,860 cf. Included site/grading plans,
access, parking, & utility designs. Design included a reinforced concrete
endwall & rock energy dissipater at the discharge point. The design flow
was 124 cfs on an 80% grade. Project Design Engineer.
Clover Commons, Plum Borough, Allegheny County, PA. Development
plans for residential community, including large stormwater management
detention pond & outlet structure for 32 acre watershed. Storage volume of
232,440 cf. Included site/grading plans, access, parking, 6” water meter
vault & utility designs. Also included a double tiered retaining wall
comprised of segmented concrete units with geotextile reinforcement with a
height of 12 feet. Project Design Engineer.
The Manor at Stonebridge, Township of North Fayette, Allegheny County
Housing Authority. Development plans for residential community, including
large stormwater management detention pond & outlet structure for 21 acre
watershed. Storage volume of 222,650 cf. Included site/grading plans,
access, parking, & utility designs. Work required a stream crossing over a
branch of Robinson Run & the necessary environmental permitting,
including the hydrologic & hydraulic analysis for the proposed culvert
design. Project Design Engineer.

& lighting, access, parking, & utility designs. Also included an underground
